Shallow Bay Motel & Cabins is the nearest accommodation to numerous tourist attractions and such beautiful scenery as Western Brook Fjord and The Arches.

Beginning in 2005, Shallow Bay Motel and Long Range Adventures are partnering to offer visitors a Stay and Play Package.  Stay at Shallow Bay Motel and participate in Long Range Adventures' many adventure opportunities such as kayaking, mountain biking, or hiking. For a taste of our history and culture, visit the Dr. Henry N. Payne Community  Museum and Library or visit one of the restored historic houses in the area. Pick raspberries, blueberries, marshberries and bakeapples just minutes from the motel, or just enjoy an afternoon of swimming and picnicking at Shallow Bay day use area.

Gros Morne National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the most scenic areas in Newfoundland & Labrador. View glacial valleys, magnificent sea arches and numerous types of wildlife.

We also have many in-house attractions for our guests. These include a heated swimming pool,  sauna, a mini-golf course and we are the "Home of the Gros Morne Theatre Festival".
